1- Put some lime in your water
On top of being tasty, it’s good for you! Lime is acidic but once it gets metabolised in the stomach it becomes alkaline (basic) due to its minerals content (potassium, magnesium and calcium) Why is making the body alkaline a good way to prevent osteoporosis? Simply put, your body uses the alkaline mineral of your bones to balance out acidity, personally, I prefer using lime juice instead of my bones to fight aidity. 2- Lift some weights or do some body weight exercises
The definition of training is very simple, stress the body in a positive way (i.e. eustress) with an external force and it will adapt to it. It’s true for hypertrophy, strength and endurance training… It’s even true for bones! They will get stronger and it will improve their density
3-Test your Hcl level (Hydrochloric acid)
You need high levels of minerals to build bones but you can’t use the minerals in your food or supplements if you don’t break them down and assimilate them. Most likely, just like most of my clients and I, you’re HcL deficient. Since HcL is the acid in your stomach responsible of breaking down your food if you’re deficient the minerals won’t be assimilated. You can have your HcL levels tested by most naturopaths
4-Avoid refined sugar
Refined sugar will increase your body’s acidity! Problem is, the stomach doesn’t like to be too acidic. Guess how the body gets rid of the acidity? By using the alkaline minerals founds in your bones…
